For attendees flying to the convention, St. Louis Lambert International Airport (airport code STL) is the recommended airport option. The airport is located 15 miles, or about a 25-minute drive, from the Convention headquarters hotel.

Attendees who are not renting a vehicle are encouraged to take a taxi or utilize a rideshare app such as Uber or Lyft to get from the airport to the hotel and back. The anticipated cost for these types of services is approximately $60.

There will not be any shuttle service organized by the National Holstein Convention from the St. Louis Lambert International Airport to the Union Station Hotel.

Parking

Valet parking is available at the Main Grand Hall entrance on eastbound Market Street. For self-parking, use the lot behind Maggie O’Brien’s next to the hotel on 20th Street. Additional overflow parking is available in the South Lot, located one block away behind St. Louis Union Station.

St. Louis MetroLink

MetroLink is the St. Louis metropolitan region's light rail system and is operated by Metro Transit as part of a fully integrated regional transportation system. The MetroLink conveniently picks up passengers at the airport and drops them off near the Union Station and Convention Headquarters hotel, making it an affordable, easy, and efficient transportation option for travelers. Keep in mind that you will have to walk a few blocks with your luggage to get from the metro stop to the hotel.
